GCS Partner News: Bat Blue Select Telex cloudXchange
Telx, a leading interconnection and data center provider in North America and a partner of Global Convergence (News - Alert) Solutions (GCS), announced that cloud solution provider Bat Blue has joined the Telx cloudXchange to bring its next-generation cloud solutions to the Telx community.
By joining Telx’s secure, carrier-neutral Cloud Connection Centers in New York City, New Jersey and Atlanta, Bat Blue will offer Telx’s customers at these Cloud Connection Centers direct access to its cloud solutions.
Bat Blue’s high-performance, low-latency services are powered by BlueNET IP network, backed by Telx’s Private Interconnect service activation capabilities of less than 24 hours and an availability of 99.999 percent.
Utilizing Bat Blue’s proprietary, “Intelligent Hot-Potato-Extreme” model that guarantees “One-Hop-Out” connectivity, BlueNET IP network overcomes the “Cloud Penalty” of latency or application delivery lag.
By selecting Telx cloudXchange in four key Cloud Connection Centers, Bat Blue can streamline the delivery of its BlueNET cloud services by building distributed, hybrid clouds using private connectivity options, company officials said.
“Bat Blue is pleased to be part of the Telx cloudXchange, as it enables us to deliver our cloud services faster and more efficiently,” said Babak Pasdar (News - Alert), president and CEO of Bat Blue, in a statement. “By integrating into the Telx Cloud Connection Centers, our customers gain access to our unique cloud services while reducing expense and burden.”
“Our Cloud Connection Centers give Bat Blue the proximity, low latency and flexibility required to optimize their mix of services, securely and cost-effectively,” said Eric Shepcaro (News - Alert), CEO of Telx, in a statement.
“By joining our cloudXchange, a fast-growing ecosystem of hundreds of networks, Bat Blue will be able to meet the demands of its enterprise customers in New York, New Jersey and Atlanta as well as other neighboring locations,” Shepcaro added.
Recently Telx also announced that USCarrier Telecom has joined the Telx Ethernet Exchange to expand the reach of its own Ethernet service delivery footprint in the Southeastern U.S.
Telx is a partner of GCS, a Next Generation Network Solutions (News - Alert) rating and routing company.
